-Motivational Blog Posts To Encourage You To Stay On The Mainstream Path Of Faith-
Does anyone else hate rejection or being denied? Whether it's being rejected by friends, your crush, your boss, no one likes the feeling of being unwanted or unaccepted. Somewhere I know I can always go and not be rejected is to God. God be in the presence of sin, but since His son has taken my place, He doesn't see sin anymore. He sees His son's sacrifice. Isn't that such a beautiful picture? How God puts His son in my place? It's truly amazing. If you haven't experienced that true love, look for it. God won't turn you away.
Here is a poem I wrote last year of searching out God. He is a Father and a friend; He wants you to accept Him. You have to take that step. A relationship is built by the participation of both parts. You can't jut expect God to talk to you or come find you and accept you. You have to come to Him too. You don't deserve such a holy God's love and you're going to reject the offer? Seek God out. If you don't know where to start, you can always read the Bible, pray and ask Him to make Himself known, you can ask someone who may know, you can even Google search about God. Look for Him, find Him, and accept Him.
Knock at His Door
In my life
There are choices to make
It’s like two doorways
Which one do I take?
There’s one on the left
I knock on the door
“Is anybody home?”
I’m not so sure…
Is this the right choice?
How will I know?
I need some answers
Who is going to show?
Maybe this is the wrong door
I’ll choose the one on the right.
I look through the keyhole
There’s a little bit of light.
I give the door a soft knock
“Is there anyone here?”
I hear someone on the other side
“Yes, my child. Do not fear.
You have knocked, and I will open
I am here to let you in.
The questions and struggles you may have
I will help you comprehend.
I am your Father and your friend
And I will tell you what is true
So come my child, I’ll let you in.
This invitation is for you.
Follow the ways that I teach you
I will not lead you astray.
Do not carry your burdens alone
Tell me your worries when you pray
I am here to comfort you
And lead you day by day.
I promise my ways are good
I will not lead you to dismay.”
So I follow Him through the doorway
He leads me by His hand
He shows me every step of the way
He has the perfect plan.
“Thank you, Lord. I love you.
I’ll trust you and obey,
and next time life is not easy
I’ll go to you and pray.”

Hi, I am Michael Jaymes. I am 20 years old, and decided to start writing in the winter of 2017. I have always loved writing, and I get to pour out that passion in my blog. I want to be a motivation, an encouragement, and edify my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ that come to MainstreamBlog. I have made my life motto, "I just want to be a blessing." This is where I live that out!
