-Motivational Blog Posts To Encourage You To Stay On The Mainstream Path Of Faith-
I am strong. I am brave. I can do this. I won't back down. I won't give up. I won't give in. I am able. I will not fall. I will finish. I can conquer. I will stand firm in what I believe and know. I will rise to my calling. Challenge accepted!
It's time for some motivation. If you haven't already came to the conclusion that some things you just can't do on your own, it's time to wake up. Realize that life is tough. Realize that you're going to get stressed, and annoyed, and depressed; but know that you don't have to go through things alone. God invites you to let Him help take the load.
Know that even though God can be on your side, that doesn't make life easy. God never promised an easy life. In fact, He promises suffering in His name. He promises that anyone not on God's side is against Him. It's time to suit up, and take on that challenge.
The life of a Christian isn't easier, but it has meaning. Go ahead and live the life that the world tries to persuade you with: "the perfect, care-free life with no worries." Does that even sound realistic?
I think of it this way: a life without God is a life without purpose; a life that's lived without a care or a goal is pointless. You know who lives like that? Kids live like that. They don't have a job or responsibilities that they are worried about. They run around recklessly and make a mess of themselves. At a young age, that's okay, but it's time to grow up sooner or later. You can either walk around living like a child, or you can decide it's time to take life seriously.
Life matters. Know that it's important. There is a purpose, and God wants you to live it out. Fulfill your purpose! God uses His people in so many different ways. Just look at the Bible. They didn't all just do the exact same thing (it'd be a pretty boring book if you read about fifty guys building an ark). God has a unique purpose for your life. He has blessed you with talents that you might not even know about yet. God uses His people in many ways, but they all have the same goal: to please Him. That's what life is about, bringing glory to God. What else would it be about? You? Ha! That's funny.
Sounds like a joke, but so often you do that without even knowing it. You think about how YOU will prosper in life. You think about the best interest in YOUR future. It's not wrong to look out for yourself, but it is wrong to think the world revolves around you. Know that God will supply your needs. You don't need to keep worrying about your life if you hand it over to God; He has a much better plan than you could ever form on your own.
Ask God to help you feel motivated. Ask God to help you look to His ways. Ask God to help you live your life for Him instead of yourself. Look like Christ, love like Christ, and live like Christ. That will bring honor to God. That will open the eyes of others. Spread the great news of what He has done in your life. He is a good God. Be determined to live your life out to please Him.
Hi, I am Michael Jaymes. I am 20 years old, and decided to start writing in the winter of 2017. I have always loved writing, and I get to pour out that passion in my blog. I want to be a motivation, an encouragement, and edify my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ that come to MainstreamBlog. I have made my life motto, "I just want to be a blessing." This is where I live that out!
