It's sad that I haven't been posting videos as often as I use to, but I have one to share today so I might as well. I hope you enjoy it! :)
I haven't posted in my video section in a very long time, but I thought this video was appropriate. Jeff Durbin is a great speaker and very interesting man to listen to. Here's a video that many have probably seen, but I really liked it.
This is one of my favorite songs. It portrays perfect symbolism that I can see life being in my mind. He is God of the hills, meaning when I'm at the top of the world, when I'm at my peak, when life is going really well, God is the one who got me there and blessed me with that time of my life. It also means the opposite. He is God of the valleys, meaning when I'm at my darkest moments, when life is low and dreary, when bad things seem to just get worse, God is the one who put me there also. It makes me wonder how could God put me through such rough and awful times? Why would He put so much pain and sorrow in my life? The answer is sin. Sin is in this world that we live in, and I can't expect to have a perfect life in a imperfect world. God allows me to go through those tough times so I can come out stronger, better, and more glorifying to Him. He brings me through trials to make me who I am today which prepares me for tomorrow. Remember, God is a GOOD God. Nothing He does is wrong. Everything He does, whether I understand it or not, is good and for His good. His plan and purpose in my life, though I may not see it yet, is for His glory. He is good. Never forget that God is good, whether you are on the top of a hill or in a low valley. To God be all the glory!
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
I stumbled upon this song, and it has been an encouragement in my own personal life recently. It's a great reminder that even when everything seems to be going wrong, He is still there. He is always there and if He is truly my everything, I need to be setting my focus on Him. Setting my attention on Him causes me to praise Him and be more thankful for who God is in my life. The chorus is my favorite part; I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I really like this song! It reminds me that He is worthy of all glory. I like to think about Jesus as my king. I think it puts a good picture and perspective in my head of how I should be humble before Him. He has been so gracious to us. He is worthy of all the praise and glory! Crown Him in your life.
I love the chorus of this song. He is the true answer in life. I love how it's personalized. "Show me how to love, show me how to reach, and show me how to do" What a great reminder.
I've recently loved this song a lot. One of my favorite lines is, "I don't have to see to believe; I don't have to see because I know it's true." No, I can't physically see God, but I still have confidence in knowing that He's right there with me. Such an encouraging song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
This song really speaks to me. It makes me think how dirty and disgusting we are because of sin, yet God made a way for us to be washed clean. His son took the payment. We are no longer sin; but we are washed in His blood. It's just amazing how a holy God can accept a wretch as sinful as me. Thank you God for your perfect plan of mercy on me, and thank you God for your gift of grace.
This song really hits me. I love the guitar and the build up, but most importantly the words are so true in my own life. All praise be to the God of mercy! He is so loving, and I have surrendered to Him! Our praise should be overwhelming inside of us. Our praise should be shown in our lives! He is worthy of all singing and praise. What a God of love I serve!
I love this song. This song really encourages me to keep a smile on my face every day through every situation. I should be so thankful that I am saved from sin's punishment. I should be praising and thanking God every day for the salvation and new life He has provided for me.
