I've personally really liked this song recently. It's super encouraging! I've heard this song in youth group the past two weeks and feel so uplifted by it. It's full of truth showing how strong God is. I feel like we underestimate that sometimes.
"So when they say they don't believe, I hope that they see you in me"
Wow! This line is inspiring. I love the words of this song. This song really speaks to me. It's all about Christ! That's it!
"I'm just a boy inside the man."
That's so true. We are just a part. We are suppose to be little Christs. I want to live to the point that people look at me and see Him in me.
My favorite line of this song is, "You alone are the anchor when my sails are torn." It's in Christ alone! Not you and Christ working together; you can't do it or do most of it on your own. You can't do it without Him. He alone is the foundation of our life. Stop taking some of God's spot and trying to do part of your life yourself. I'm not saying wait for God to do everything and not to move. God will only use you if you move, but don't try to steal His glory. Keep God at the foundation and follow His ways for His glory. He is suppose to be king of your life! Make Him king of your life, and be a true servant. He loves you, and you have life in Him. Live life for His honor as a thank you for what He's done. Share how Christ has changed your life and made you who you are today. Live it out. Let God be that anchor that holds you in place when you are in a storm. You have Him to hold onto; so don't push away. Instead, walk in the way He guides. He is always in control. Don't take your trust out of Him.
I've fallen in love with this song recently. The words and message is so beautiful. The truth to the song paints a very vivid picture in my mind and always makes me want to sing. I hope it has the same effect on you.
BTW: The song is very long, so I picked this shorter version because I really love this guy's voice!
There is only room for one God in your life. Deny it as much as you want, but everyone has a God. Whether it's your spouse, your technology, your job, your alcohol, or maybe it is the one and only Creator. There's only room for one. You have to keep God at the priority of life; don't replace him with some material possession that will fade. Who will be your God?
I've really loved this song recently. It's so encouraging knowing who God is. He is the God of love. He is the God of mercy. He is the God of grace. He is God of righteous judgement. He is a good Father. His choices may disagree with mine, but I know His choices are far better than mine.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
I've really liked the topic of unity recently. How God made a way for unity to be restored. God made a way for man to be united to Him once again. And it was only through His son, Jesus Christ. What an amazing God I have!
"It All Points To Jesus"
